Staying in the Right Lane – Ethan Re-Signs with Streatham!
Streatham Ice Hockey Club is excited to confirm that forward Ethan Lane will be returning to the RedHawks for the 2025/26 season.
A product of the Bracknell youth system, Lane joined the RedHawks after two seasons with the Streatham Blackhawks. Since then, he’s developed into a reliable and energetic forward, quickly becoming a fan favourite. His impact last year was clear, netting 16 goals and adding 14 assists in 32 regular season games.
Lane’s return is a big boost to the RedHawks’ lineup as we gear up for another competitive year.
Ethan had the following comment on his return:
“Hi Streatham Fans, thank you for all the support over the last couple of seasons, I’m excited to be back and looking forward to getting the new season underway. See you all in September”.
Coach Ben Paynter also commented:
“I feel Ethan really stamped his mark on this league last year showing how much of a goal scoring threat he can be. I think he thrived on added responsibility and ice time and scored some big goals in big moments for us. He is a big, fast powerful forward with a great shot. This year I’m expecting him to continue the way he is going while using his size and speed to add some extra grit along the way. I see Ethan becoming one of the top goal scorers in this division in the near future”.
Ethan’s game worn jerseys are sponsored by Callie, Nate and Howie Strang.
