Streatham Show No Lack of Ambition with Alan’s Signing!
Streatham Redhawks are delighted to announce the signing of Alan Lack from the Chelmsford Chieftains!
A proven competitor with relentless energy, smart two-way play, and a reputation for stepping up in big moments, Lack brings experience, leadership, and grit to the Redhawks lineup. During his time with Chelmsford, he became a fan favourite thanks to his work rate, physical presence, and ability to make an impact in all areas of the ice. We are excited to see him in Redhawks Red!
Head Coach Ben Paynter commented,
“When I heard Lacky was available, I knew I had to try and bring him to Streatham. I have been trying for a couple of summers now and I’m over the moon we have been able to make it happen.
He brings a work rate like no other, puts his body on the line, competes for every puck, is a nuisance to play against and comes up big scoring goals from the dirty areas. He is a proven leader and great team first guy, and I think he is exactly the boost we need at this point in the season. I can’t wait to see the impact he has on our game going forward.”
Lack commented,
“I am excited to announce that I will be joining the Redhawks for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. After two successful seasons with the Chieftains, making this decision was far from easy. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at the club for an incredible experience that has helped shape me as a player and a person.
I’m now looking forward to the opportunity ahead. Having played alongside many of the Redhawks team since our junior days, it will be great to reunite and compete together once again.
