Waller Back for Fifth Season with Streatham
Streatham IHC are thrilled to announce that Sam Waller has committed to his fifth season with the club for 2025/26!

The experienced defenseman continues his journey on the High Road, bringing with him a rich tapestry of British hockey experience. Having developed through Swindon's junior ranks, Waller has showcased his talents across the country with spells at Bracknell, Isle of Wight, Slough, and Guildford, while also earning international recognition with Great Britain at both U18 and U20 levels.
The Re-signing of Waller represents another key piece in Streatham's roster building as they prepare for the new season. His return will be welcomed by fans who have seen firsthand the impact he can make when patrolling the blue line.
Sam had the following to say about his fifth year returning to the High Road:
“Even though last season didn’t go as we expected, there was still a lot of positives to take from the season. We can bounce back this year and I’m looking forward to it! Let’s go Redhawks”.
Coach Ben Paynter also added:
“Sam has become a part of our core here in Streatham, he goes about his business without any drama and does his job. I can rely on him to play in all situations, has a good shot from the point and looks after his own end well. He is a glue guy in our group and makes coming to the rink a joy when things aren’t necessarily going your way”.
You have the chance to own and loan Waller’s game-worn jersey for £110.00. To enter the draw, please email: ownloanshirts@yahoo.com
