Pitch Perfect: JJ returns for year three!
Streatham IHC are excited to confirm that JJ Pitchley will be returning for his third season with the club for the 2025/26 season.
A consistent offensive contributor, Pitchley recorded 18 goals and 20 assists last season — proving once again to be a reliable presence up front. Known for his physical play, and clutch scoring ability, JJ brings grit and experience that will be vital as Streatham look to build on their recent success.
His return strengthens an already powerful core of returning forwards as the RedHawks prepare for another title-chasing season.
JJ had the following to say on his return:
“Happy to be back on the high road! Ready to get going after a sour end to last season! Ready to go get some trophies back in SW16”.
Player Coach Ben Paynter had the following comments:
“Bringing JJ back adds plenty of grit to our line up, he has the ability to be a game changer on the scoreboard with some timely, big goals for us over the last few years, but he also has the ability to be physical and draw penalties. When JJ is on his game, he is a nuisance and can be very hard for opposing teams to deal with. He skates well, has a great shot and is a big physical body up and down the ice. There aren’t many people around that love the game as much as J and that is infectious and a pleasure to be around”.
