Ratcliffe Rolls Back into Streatham!
We are delighted to announce that Stanley Ratcliffe has committed to continue his role as Assistant Coach for the 2025/26 season.

Stan stepped into the role of Assistant Coach at the start of the 2022/23 season, joining Head Coach Ben Paynter in leading the team. His transition from player, being previously on a two way with the Streatham Blackhawks, to coach was seamless, and his impact was both immediate and significant.
In his debut season behind the bench, Stan played a key role in guiding the team to a remarkable league and playoff double—an achievement that showcased his sharp tactical insight and natural leadership.
All at Streatham are excited to have Stan back for what will be his third year as assistant coach with the club.
Stan commented:
“I’m delighted to re-sign with Streatham and to work with Paynts and the boys again for the upcoming season. We’ve got a great group, who are all motivated to bring silverware back to the High Road. Can’t wait to get started and see you all in September”.
Head Coach Ben Paynter commented:
“Having Stan back on the bench is a massive positive for me – you need someone you can trust by your side and someone that wants the best for the team and Stan is exactly that. He has really grown into his role as he has got more experience, that accompanied by his analytical skills he has learned through his degree I’m sure he will continue to be a big part of our success going forward”.
Club owner and manager Graham D’anger had the following to say:
“We're pleased to announce that Stanley has agreed to return for another season. Stanley is very mature for his young age and has the full respect from the team and management”.
