Colvin becomes a Redhawk!
Streatham IHC are pleased to announce the signing of Louis Colvin for the 2025/26 season.

Colvin, who plied his trade in Guildford through his junior career makes London his home for the coming campaign after most recently playing for our local rivals the Invicta Dynamos where he posted 33 points across 35 games playing defence and forward. As well as stops with the Dynamos Colvin has played with Bracknell and the Leeds Knights in the NIHL national League.
Prior to his Senior career starting, Colvin spent 2 years in Canada with the Ontario Hockey Academy. The Left-handed, utility player will join the Redhawks as a defenceman but has the ability to play forward and defence if needed.
Colvin joining the team had the following to say:
“I’ve kept in touch with Paynts every summer for a few years and this year hearing what plans he has for me and the team gave me a lot of confidence that Streatham is the team for me. I’m excited to wear red for the first time and skate with some old teammates toward some silverware. See you on the High Road!”
Coach Ben Paynter commented:
“Louis is someone I have been keen to get at Streatham for some time. We have spoken a lot in the past and I’m pleased we have managed to get something sorted for this season coming. Louis is a good skater, is smart on and off the puck and has the ability to play both defence and forward. I felt we struggled to transition from defence to offence at times last year and I think having Louis will definitely help in that department as he moves the puck well. I have heard nothing but good things about Louis as a person and I think he will fit in with our group seamlessly.”
