Harvey Stays Stead-fast for Another Season
Streatham IHC are thrilled to announce that Harvey is returning for the 2025/26 season!
Harvey joined the Streatham Redhawks last season after spending his entire career with the Bees, with the exception of one season with the Swindon Wildcats. He also represented Great Britain at Under 18s and Under 20s.
A cornerstone of our defensive unit, Harvey brings a wealth of experience and calm composure to the ice, which fans have come to enjoy watching. Since joining the Redhawks, he’s consistently been a reliable and hardworking player, and we’re excited to have him back as we continue to build towards another competitive season.
Harvey had the following to say on his second season with the club:
“Really happy to be back in Streatham for another year. Whilst it didn’t go the way we wanted with trophies it was one of the most fun years I’ve had playing hockey. It was a no brainer for me to come back - see you all in September!”
Coach Paynter also had the following comments:
“I’m really pleased to have Harvey back for another year on the high road, he is calm on the puck, doesn’t panic under pressure, adds plenty of offence and I think with a full year under his belt adapting to this level I think we will see even more next year”.
