New November signing sets his sights on the high road.
Streatham Ice Hockey Club are pleased to announce the signing of Lithuanian import Ignotas Ragas.
22 year old Ragas comes to us highly recommended, having iced for the Lithuanian National team at U18 & U20 level, whilst having applied his skill in Lithuania, Canada and the United States. This will be his first stint in the U.K. and will come straight into our line up this weekend against Chelmsford and Invicta.
Coach Paynts had the following to say on the signing of our latest import,
“Iggy joins us with the ability to add some firepower to our squad going forward. He skates well, has a great shot and is strong on the puck. His signing comes at a perfect time, with a couple of injuries and suspensions and I can see him being a key part of team moving forward.”
Iggy commented saying,
“I am very excited to continue my journey with streatham redhawks team. Cannot wait to go on ice with the boys.””

They cost £100 for either the home or away jersey and you get to add a message to the back of the jersey and keep it at the end of the season – we will wash out any game stains (unless you want them left on).
