Cool Calm and Colvin as Louis Returns to the High Road!
The Streatham RedHawks are happy to announce the return of Louis Colvin for the 26/27 season.

The 26-year-old 5’ 11” primarily defensive player, who can play offence when called upon. Boasts an impressive resume early in his senior hockey career that showcases his ability and potential.
A graduate of the Guildford junior system, Colvin would spend time in Canadian junior with the Ontario Hockey Academy before making his senior British hockey debut with the Invicta Dynamos. 2 Impressive seasons would see Louis signed by the Bracknell Bee’s for a season in the National league. A return to Invicta and another solid season caught the eye of Ryan Aldridge in Leeds where he would join Leeds league title winning team. Before another stop in Invicta ahead of his arrival on the High Road last season
Louis is looking forward to competing for trophies again in 26/27
"Really happy to be re-signing with Streatham Ice Hockey Club for another season. I joined last year to compete for trophies, and it was great to be part of a team that achieved that together. Although we fell short of the league title, it’s given us even more motivation for the season ahead. I’ve really enjoyed playing under Paynts — his passion for the team and the club is clear every day. Looking forward to getting back on the ice and pushing for more this year".
Colvin is another offensive defenceman in the Streatham ranks. One who has great skating ability and speed which he uses to great effect positioning himself to close off lanes and opponents, while finding open ice for offensive chances. Colvin also provides coach Paynter with a great deal of flexibility in the line-up as a utility player that can play up on the offensive lines when needed. Across play offs and regular season games last year Colvin contributed 3 goals 13 assists for 16 points in his first season on the High Road.
Coach Paynter is pleased at the return of a player that gives the line-up great flexibility
“Louis adds versatility, speed and tenacity to our line up. He showed last year how affective his speed can be, how hard he can battle as well as how he has the ability to smother other teams offence. He can play in all positions which gives me flexibility. He showed at the end of last season how affective he can be in big moments and I think he will find another gear in terms of production next season with a full season under his belt. He is a pleasure to coach and I cant wait to see the impact he has next year. “
Colvin's jerseys will be available to own and loan, if interested please email ownloanshirts@yahoo.com. Each jersey is priced at £125 and will be presented to the sponsor at the end of the season. Jerseys will be available on a first come first service basis.
