Adam Carr's update after the team goes top
t was a great weekend for us, Saturday was a real character win down in Solent in front of an amazing following from our fans.
It is a real tough place to play and difficult to prepare for when you are used to the bigger ice but everyone showed a lot character and fight and I was really proud of the boys.
Sunday we played the in-form team Raiders jr and I can see why they as they never stop skating and work all night, we struggled to get going until the third period then stepped up and played some really nice hockey.
With results going our way we now sit top of the table but the hardest part is staying there so we still have a lot of work to do and things we need to work on.
This weekend is another tough weekend away at Bracknell which is never an easy place to play, they have an experienced team who are difficult to beat, then Sunday we host Slough who are a really well drilled skating team so we will be working hard in training this week and will be ready to go.
